Sewing (Kilmaurs)

Sewing (Kilmaurs)

Marsha Burke has a BA (hons) in Fine Art and a PGCE (secondary) in Art & Design. She has 15 years’ experience teaching in Glasgow schools, most of which was spent in the SEN Sector, so she has plenty of experience at a range of skills levels. She started to sew dollies’ clothes as a youngster, progressing to my own wardrobe over time. She is now a now a freelance artist and teacher.

Marsha’s classes in Kilmaurs Community Centre are suitable for any level.  A complete beginner will be set a simple project to cover the basics, and thereafter will work at his/her own pace.  There are a few machines for class use, but many people prefer to bring their own.  It is a very informal and friendly class, and Marsha is an experienced teacher.

You can contact Marsha on 07986531569 or via email at bigredhen@talktalk.net
